personally for everyday use. i would go with the mac. but if ur gonna game, even a little bit. pc is the way to go

i agree, if design is what your into a mac is a perfect fit it comes with literally everything you will ever need. but if gaming is what you would us it for id  go hands down for a pc. :D

Macs are all about Glam and Gloss. Media, design, and that sorta stuff, While PC is used for general every day uses and needs, Like gaming and business. I say P.C. can opperate on both ends of the spectrum better then a MAC can.

Well Mac's are for Graphics and Design apart from Hi-End i7 CPU's will render 3D so much better. For every day use and compatibility I would go with Windows 7 no lower as it's so easy to use, coming from someone who was forced to go back to XP I found it impossible to use from some simple tasks.

although xp does not hog up as much ram as 7 does making your computer overall smoother

XP is good if you want to game.
